Teton Valley High School Home Ec.

3 cups flour
2 Tbsp. baking powder
1 ½ cup milk
4 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
6 Tbsp. shortening

Sift dry ingredients together then cut in shortening until it’s the size of peas. Add milk and stir until spongy. Pour on floured area, roll to one inch thick and cut with round biscuit cutter. Bake at 400º for about 12 minutes. Makes about 12.
