Crumb crust:
2 cups flour
1 cube butter

½ cup chopped nuts
½ cup brown sugar

Mix crust ingredients well until no lumps remain, spread on a large cookie sheet. Bake at 375º about 15 minute or until golden brown. Stir every 5 minutes. Let cool and then crumble. Spread half the mixture in bottom of a 9 x 13 glass baking dish. Save the other half to sprinkle on top. Can be put in individual dessert dishes.

Dream Whip mixture:

2 envelopes of Dream Whip
8 oz. cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Make Dream Whip according to directions on package. Add cream cheese (room temperature or it will be lumpy). Add powdered sugar, and vanilla to the mixture. Spread completed mixture on top of the crumbs.


1 pkg. Strawberry Danish dessert
1 ½ cups water.

Boil for 1 minute. Take off stove and add:

1 package frozen strawberries
2 Tbsp. lemon juice

Pour sauce over the dream whip, top with the rest of the crumbs. Refrigerate two hours before serving. For variation, raspberry Danish dessert and raspberries can be substituted for strawberries.
