2 Tbsp. sugar
2 cups cold water
½ cup cornstarch
½ cup clear dishwashing liquid
Food coloring or food coloring paste
Mix the sugar and cornstarch in a small pan, slowly add water. Cook over low heat stirring until the mixture becomes a smooth, almost clear gel (about 5 minutes). When mixture is has cooled, stir in the dishwashing liquid. Scoop into several containers and stir in the food coloring.
The paid dissolves in water which makes it great for bathtub finger painting. Keep in airtight containers.
