FRANK’S PIZZA CRUST

Frank

½ tsp. dry yeast
½ cup warm water
½ tsp. sugar
½ tsp. salt
1 ½ Tbsp. salad oil
1 ½ to 2 cups flour

Makes one crust. Dissolve yeast in warm water before adding in sugar, salt, oil & 1 cup flour. Beat until smooth. Stir in enough remaining flour to make dough easy to handle. Turn dough onto lightly floured surface; knead until smooth – about 5 minutes. Place in greased bowl, turn greased side up. Cover and let rise for 1 hour. Press dough to fit pan size. Top with your favorite pizza toppings and bake at 425º for 10 minutes or until crust is crisp and cheese is melted.

“Frank got this recipe from his Jr. High School Home Ec. Class in Richfield, Utah. I tried it and liked it better than the recipe I had been using”.
