2 lbs. pasta noodles (wheels, long tubes, macaroni, i.e. anything you can string)
3 pint bottle of rubbing alcohol
food coloring
Place noodles in a large enough container that there is room for the alcohol. Mix the coloring with the alcohol, pour over the noodles, making sure that they are all covered. Let them stand in solution till they are the desired color, the longer the brighter the color. Drain on a paper towel. Make several colors and have fun making necklaces or pictures.
