COLORED RICE

½ cup uncooked white rice
Flour
2 tsp. vinegar
5 drops food coloring


Place rice in a bowl and food coloring and vinegar. Spread flat onto baking sheet. Bake at 200º for 45 minutes to dry. Make multiple colors at a time, but bake them on separate trays.

Colored rice is an non-toxic alternative to glitter and sand for the young artist.
