GALUSKA / HUNGARIAN DUMPLINGS

4 cups flour
2 eggs
½ tsp. salt
1 ½ cups milk
1 cube butter, melted


Mix salt, butter and eggs into flour. Gradually pour in enough milk to make a soft dough, which doesn’t drop easily from the spoon, rather pulls from spoon. Cut dough into boiling salted water. As the dumplings rise, remove and drain, and rinse with hot water.
