2 cups white sugar
2/3 cup white Karo syrup
2/3 cup boiling water
2 Tbsp. white vinegar
Bring ingredients to a boil then add:
2 tsp. cream of tarter
desired coloring
Boil to hard ball stage, or soft crackle.
Remove from heat and add:
2 Tbsp. butter,
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. baking soda
Mix well, and pour over popcorn.
