BUTTERCREAM FROSTING

3 cups powdered sugar
1/3 cup butter, softened
1 ½ tsp. vanilla
1 to 2 Tbsp. milk


Mix powdered sugar and butter in medium bowl. Stir in vanilla and milk.

Beat until smooth and spreadable. Makes enough to frost 13 x 9 inch flat cake, or a 9 inch two layer round cake.
