DIPPING CARMEL

1 cup butter
1 lb. (2 ¼ cup) brown sugar – packed
1 cup corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup sweeten condensed milk
1 dash salt


Melt butter, salt and brown sugar until sugar dissolves. Add remaining ingredients and cook to soft ball (240º on candy thermometer). Serve with fresh fruit of your choice.
